In her works, Zilla Leutenegger always deals with the figure in space. For several years she has also been concerned with the architecture in which the figures move. She is interested in transcending two-dimensionality and has therefore begun to design some of her works in three dimensions.

For the “Important Visit” exhibition, various room drawings are put together to form an apartment. There will be a hallway, living room, bedroom, kitchen, office space and bathroom on display for visitors to walk through. However, the house itself will remain invisible; individual walls will only serve as an illustration. The bedroom or bathroom can only be seen through the door and window. The kitchen, however, could be designed as an open space with a single wall added. The living room can be separated from the bedroom by a wall.

The apartment resembles a three-dimensional drawing containing real objects, such as a staircase, a wardrobe or other furniture. People can also stay in the room and do everyday things, such as reading, writing or sitting on the stairs and thinking. Melih Fereli tarafından bağışlanmıştır.
