Yarının haberlerini bugünün hayalleriyle, basılı ve sesli olarak veren Dream News, bir geleceği şekillendirme deneyidir. Katılımcılarına yansıma alanları açan topluluk ve birey bazlı bu yayın, her bir varoluşun birbirini şekillendirdiği düşüncesiyle; zamanı nesneleştiriyor ve onu biçimlendirmeye açıyor.
Eğer şimdi ve burada; tüm zamanlar bir arada bulunuyorsa; gelecek şu an oluşuyor olmalı… Eğer gelecek şimdi oluşuyorsa, o zaman şekillendirilebilir mi? Dream News katılımcılarına, geleceği heterojen bir şekilde yaratmak için görsel ve işitsel monolog alanları açıyor. Katılımcılara şimdilik tek bir soru soruyoruz. “Hayalin nedir?”

Dream News, Murat Yıldız ve Defne Tesal aracılığıyla 2019’dan beri yürütülen bir sanat inisiyatifidir.
Dream News 3 ile, şüphe ve korkunun gelecek hayallerimizi beslediği bir dönemde, umutlarımızı canlandırmak, çoğaltmak ve aktarmak arzusuyla bir kez daha yola çıkıyoruz. Bu kez hayalimiz içinde bulunduğumuz durumun oluşturduğu fiziksel sosyalleşme ağlarından esinlenerek yeni paylaşımlara alan açmak.
Şüphelerden olabildiğince arınmak için şartlar birbirimize mesafeli olmamızı gerektiriyor ama belli bir güven ilişkisi içerisinde küçük ve kapalı gruplar halinde bir araya gelmeye devam ediyoruz. Dream News 3, taktik olarak bu grupların kesişimlerinde hareket etmeyi ve olabildiğince yayılmayı hayal ediyor.

Dream News is an experiment in shaping the future by delivering tomorrow's news with today's dreams in the forms of newspaper and podcast. This community and individual based publication, which opens up areas of reflection for its participants, with the thought that each existence shapes each other; it objectifies time and opens it up to be formed.
If here and now; all the times coexist, the future must be forming now… If the future is forming now, can it be shaped then? Dream News opens up visual and aural monologue spaces for its participants to create the future in a heterogeneous way. For now, we ask the participants only one question. "What is your dream?"
Dream News is a printed publication consisting of notes and drawings of the participants, and a podcast series of audio monologues.
Dream News is an art initiative run by Murat Yıldız and Defne Tesal, since 2019.
The second issue of the paper “Dream News / Hayal Gazetesi” was done in Kayalar and Babakale villages of Çanakkale, Turkey right before the Pandemic, in 2020. This issue was made within the “Kayalar Hanımeli Initiative” and the “Babakale Kaleder Association”. Both organizations provide a solidarity space for women to gather, produce, share and promote their own made products.
The 3rd issue of the paper “Dream News / Chains*” has been collaboratively realised in Istanbul, Ankara, Çanakkale and Muğla provinces of Turkey during the Covid-19 pandemic between January-July 2021. Our dream for this issue was to open up spaces for sharing, inspired by the physical socializing networks created by the pandemic.
At a time when we needed to keep a distance from each other in order to minimize doubt as much as possible, we still continued to come together in small and closed groups within a certain trust relationship. With Dream News 3, we tactically acted at the intersection of these groups and spread as much as possible through them.
