"Harmony comes from what you know... So the disharmony is much more interesting, it's a life statement... Because in the end, in the course of history, we always transform the disharmony into harmony». The volume dates back to the entire course of Sean Scully, an American artist of Irish descent, during the exhibition curated by Anna Bernardini (19 April 2019-6 January 2020) at Villa e Panza collection, well of the FAI-Fondo Italiano environment in Varese. The research on colour and structure, on the geometry and on the vibration of colours in relation to light, coincides with a minimalist but emotional, experiential, hypnotic poetic, which stands at the eternal boundary between figuration and abstraction. From the first acrylic of the seventies and from the works on paper, the photographs, the installations and the series "Eleuthera", "Doric" and "Passenger"-among others-we reach until the reproduction of a site specific intervention realized in the park of Villa Panza, with " Landline "of glass
