Emre Zeytinoğlu'nun kaleme aldığı kitap, "Mesafe ve Temas" sergisi kapsamında, müze kavramını, müze kurma arzusunu ve kültür-sanat-sermaye üçgenini tartışıyor; bu tartışma ekseninde, Hüsamettin Koçan'ın bireysel bir düşü olarak filizlenip, gönüllü katkılarla bugüne gelen Baksı'nın bir müze olma serüvenine göz atıyor. Bu anlamda "Baksı-Bir Boşluğa İşaret Bırakmak-Mesafe ve Temas", bir sergi kitabı olmanın ötesine geçerek, derinlikli bir müze anlatısı olarak karşımıza çıkıyor. Bu bağlamda, 2012 yılı içerisinde müzeye dâhil olan "Depo-Müze" de, müzenin kendi koleksiyonunu yaratma sürecinin nihai bir aşaması olarak bu kitapta yerini alıyor.
